it’s a great film and Johnny Lee Miller the perfect cast for it. It was done with some artistic license though, this is the C4 docu about Obree vs Boardman, I think you may enjoy this too

Agree. A good and funny insight into the peleton - sometimes it's just a bunch of guys who want an easy time cycling along and chatting.

I think there was even some rain jacket action like Kelderman in the Giro or Roglic in the Vuelta. Millar led the way.

Yeah I like that too. Weird how no one's said American Flyers. Seriously though, I really enjoyed Inspired to Ride, road bike packing across America if you haven't seen it.

Breaking Away manages to be a pretty good cycling film, a very good coming-of-age film, and quite a good "locals vs outsiders" film. It's heartfelt, charming and funny.
