In reply to Blue Straggler:

Holmes & Watson 1/10. It gets the 1 because I had a nice snooze halfway through

In reply to Big Steve:

I said elsewhere that once upon a time I was on a quest to find the worst reasonably-major film of the current era (say, the past 30 years)
I went to see stuff like The Descent 2 and found them to be disappointingly "OK"
The 2014 attempt at rebooting Robocop came close with a 2/10 but it looks like Holmes & Watson is a front-runner or tying with Norbit.

Even though it would cost me nothing to do so (I have an unlimited cinema pass), I am NOT going to see this film. It will probably cripple John C Reilly's chances of an Oscar nomination for Stan & Ollie...whether he cares or not is another matter

I thought you gave Mortal Engines 4?

Happy filmgoing and keep up the good work in 2019.

In reply to Offwidth:

Nope. It dreams of a 4.

What? No "Free Solo"?

In reply to Jon Read:

I can't review something that I didn't watch. Sorry.

Yet another Star Wars sequel?

In reply to Blue Straggler:

I liked red sparrow. Not as action packed as Atomic Blond though which I also enjoyed.

In reply to Blue Straggler:

I'd be interested in your opinion of it, if you get the chance.

In reply to Jon Read:

I think I missed my chances, it’s been and gone from the cinemas I might have seen it in.
