We were at Yarncliffe yesterday. There were signs up (National Trust I think?) just after Cardinal's Arete about birds nesting and not to climb beyond there. There are no access issue notes on the crag page currently, so just worth noting if anyone was planning to go there for Zapple etc.

In reply to Durkules:

Zapple (HVS 5b) is not in the restricted zone and can be accessed by walking round to the right rather than through the signed area. As far as I could tell from where the National Trust have put "please keep out of this area nesting bird" or to that effect the restrictions run from Cardinal's ArĂȘte (VS 4c) through to about S.T.P. (VS 5a) all climbs on Ant's Slab are unaffected but a loud noisy group is probably not the best idea. I believe the restriction is for tawny owls which are vicious and best avoided.

Thanks for clarifying, it wasn't clear from the signs how far the restriction went, and it made it sound like the rest of the crag was out of bounds.
