Abseiling down from Leverage on Scafell East Buttress yesterday I noticed there's a rock scar where a large (2m x 1m) block has gone from the start of the second pitch of Midnight Express, it's now on the path.

It doesn't affect pitch 1 (the big pitch) but will make pitch 2 way harder and more serious. Finishing up the wide crack of chartreuse to the abseil or Mickledore Grooves are both possible instead. If I get back up to climb it later in the year I'll update further.
