Hello,

I'm thinking of climbing in Avon Gorge Main Wall (Morning / Evening Wall area) and was checking the BMC RAD app for Avon Gorge Main Wall and just wanted to check I'm correct that it's OK to climb there at the moment?

It says "The peregrines have not nested on Main Wall this year, and, as in the past several years are nesting in Quarry 5 in Leigh Woods, where restrictions apply". Which to me means it's all clear to climb here but I just wanted to be sure.

Yes, i read the restrictions as you do.  You are free to climb anywhere on Main Wall until the peregrines decide to nest there again.

I’m not sure if it’s the same bird but there’s a pair on exploding galaxy wall and I think another up that way somewhere. Nearer the top I think so it affects a couple of potentially popular abseils. 

They are on the Exploding Galaxy Wall this year.

Read the thread, as the restricted area was reduced a bit.

Everywhere else is ok
