This weekend is the penultimate Range West briefing - Saturday Morning 10am at the Castelmartin army camp. Compulsory for anyone who want to access Range West for climbing in 2016/17. Attending the briefing allows climbers to access Range West during all non-firing days until May 2017. Climbers briefed in 2015 should note that their briefing comes to an end on 28th May and if you have not attended a 2016 briefing you will not be able to access Range West. There is only one further briefing date this year on Saturday 23rd July.

Also - there have been a number of reported infringements of the agreed seasonal climbing restrictions in 2016 - this is not good for continued access to these cliffs, where many of the restrictions have been eased in recent years due to the excellent co-operation of climbers. An increase in infringements could lead to draconian restrictions on a wider scale. Please check the car park notice boards, the free leaflet available at the car parks and at the cafe and pub at Bosherston, look out for the red marker pots and check the BMC RAD for the latest information. https://www.thebmc.co.uk/modules/RAD/Search.aspx?s=71&t=&r=34
