The weekend is coming up and you folks will be thinking about where to go..... Can I remind you of the sensitivity of the Northern crags.... Please avoid the following:
Bowden and Back Bowden
Kyloe Out
Berryhill
Goats Crag
Others to avoid include
Queens
Callerhues
East Woodburn
Shaftoe
Kyloe In is open but will probably get very busy. Please park carefully and don't block the gate. The nearest areas to Bowden that aren't sensitive are the Hepburn/Cateran Hill group, Thrunton and the Corby's to Caller escarpment.
Simonside and Revensheugh are open, but the parking was very busy last weekend.
As the BMC advise, please avoid towns, villages and farmers.
