We had a wander over to Lawrencefield and had it to ourselves most of the day. There are a couple of signs asking climbers to avoid Great Harry to the left of the pool through to part way along the back wall above the pool.

We wondered if the signs were new or out of date. 2 Kestrels came back to a nest to feed so it was clear that this section of the wall was still currently advised. Raven chicks on Great Harry are also apparent. Great day and great venue.

Apologies for the confusion, I forgot to put a date on the signs - they're current. The restriction is actually for the Kestrels and is just from Cascara Crack (HS 4b) to S.A.E. (HVS 5b) usually accessed from the right. The sign under Great Harry just asks people to climb quickly and quietly in that area and to keep well back if using the mid-crag belay ledge (to avoid disturbing the Kestrels around the corner). It also warns there are Jackdaws (not Ravens) nesting in Great Harry - but they are pretty tolerant of people.
