It has been reported that peregrines are nesting near the main wall at Brantrake Crag in Eskdale. This has been a traditional peregrine nesting site for many years, although it wasn't used last year so wasn't listed as restricted in 2020. Obviously the situation has changed, please avoid the crag until 30 June to give the birds the best chance of breeding success.
I have updated the FRCC website and have passed the message to Rob Dyer, Access Officer for BMC but he may be on furlough
