Bradwell Dale and Deep Rake Parking

We have had a couple of reports of people being a bit lazy at these two current Peak hotspots and parking in the very places where you shouldn't just to save a bit of walking.

Deep Rake - Park at the wide area at the end of the tarmac road on the approach and walk the 400m from there - going across the field to the right of the Rake is the best option. Don't park down by the crag on the dirt track since it isn't really wide enough.

Bradwell Dale - The new owner of the crag is very friendly and open to climbing taking place but he has requested that people don't park on the main road and instead park in the village and walk up.

Be a shame to jeopardise access to these two venues before they have even finished being developed!

Come on people, don’t be idol...One of the things to enjoy about Deep Rake is the walk/stroll to and from the crag.. Technically vehicles aren’t allowed beyond the cattle grid, there’s a sign, although the Off roading  community ignore this. We’ve no idea about access yet so treat the place gently and keep a low profile. Thanks.

Agreed. It has a surprisingly panoramic view of familiar Peak landmarks!
