Some swine has left a turd on the Ivy Gash ledge just below the metal chain belay/abseil station on the LHS. Slap bang on the rock, no concern.

Would be an unpleasant surpise to top out onto & watch your ropes when throwing down to ab.

Stagnation (VS 4c)

Lord of the Dance (E3 6a)

Ivy Gash (HVS 5b)

Utter disbelief someone can't be bothered to just abseil off and dig one in the undergrowth at the very least!

That's one way of logging a route.

I think it's probably fair to assume that such an item falls safely within the 'abandoned' category - hence definitely swag - rather than actually 'lost'. I doubt that the previous owner was at any point scratching his head and trying to remember where he'd last had it, or whether he'd put it down anywhere. You'd know, wouldn't you?
