What is the access situation at Bamford this week? The Natural England website says there is No Open Access but doesn't affect right of way, does that mean no climbing? But the BMC website isn't clear and people have been logging climbs on UKC

The info on the RAD app gives a pretty good and accurate summary. The landowner can restrict access to CROW land for up to 28 days, at fairly short notice, so if the NE website says there is a restriction on, it'll be correct. Historically it's always been around this time of year they close access.

From the Natural England website. Closed May 17-25, May 29-31, June 1, June 4-8, June 11-13 and September 28/29. The crag at Bamford is not on a right of way, so no climbing.

There should be a sign up at the stile (there is near High Nebb).
