A heads up if you’re headed to Sella in Costa Blanca:
“Sella Climbing Area - Access closed for cars and campervans.
The access for cars and campervans to the climbing area of Sella incl. Wildside and Sector VIPs will be closed during weekdays from tomorrow till end of January 2023 due to roadworks. The Divino incl. sector "Elefante" are accessible without problems.
The access is only possible by foot. If climbers come to the area from Monday to Friday they should leave their cars before the barrier. Don't remove barriers or try to park in the closed up area. Climbers can park on the side of the road, but the car has to be completely off the road as the road is used by big lorries and authorities will be called if cars block the way for the lorries.”
A local who lives in Sella wrote this after speaking yesterday with locals and the mayor etc.
