Zwift question

I have a friend whose Zwift stats are a million miles away from his real world stats. I strongly suspect he has a poorly calibrated turbo or has fibbed about his weight.

I don't use zwift, but I see his rides on strava, which also shows a screenshot from his ride. I was looking at this screen shot and it shows the power he is putting out at that time in the top left hand corner. It also shows a table on the right hand side where he is positioned in the ride and his watts per kilo.

I was wondering if this w/kg number is an average for the ride so far, or what he is putting out at that moment of the screenshot? If the latter he has definitely lost 15kg of virtual weight lol.

Anyone know?

Swift rides just make me feel sorry for them

Definitely no kudos.

In reply to Bjartur i Sumarhus: the figure is what his output at that moment so it changes constantly during his ride

World tour pros get their arses kicked on Zwift.

It's just the instant power at a random time.

Equally zwift speed / distance make no sense in the real world.

Unless you are looking at his normalised power over two periods I wouldn't start comparing.
