Stunning. Incredible timing to sling shot your team mate at the right place and the right time within a wild melee to win the sprint. Over and over again.

To be honest, it became almost processional to watch,  especially after the crashes with Italy and then the Dutch.  Absolutely consumate performance.

A great win, through what seems to someone who is not a great follower of velodrome cycling, a complicated event. It's another sport where we can be really proud.

In reply to elsewhere:

An amazingly controlled and dominant win. Even before the dutch crash they had a very healthy lead.

This has been my favourite medal of the games, by far. What a performance! Worry at the start that they had gone off too hard and it would all fall apart, then the slow realisation that they were absolutely peerless, then the final, climactic sprint to show everyone that they could have done it all day. What a win

I think it's worse on TV than in reality since the camera view tends to jump around rather than focus on what's going on either with a specific pairing or what going on at the front of the race. On the other hand it does allow you to go back and review how a specific situation arose - possibly a lap earlier - e.g., a fluffed/missed change-over.
