Its good an a similar vein to the Preston Guild way, but not as family friendly with quite a bit of on road stuff.
Not suitable for a road bike with skinny tyres, probably best on a Hybrid or MTB. I also doubt its suitable for a tandem or a trailer due to the number of squeeze stiles.
There is a lot of signage but its still possible to miss your way as it is quite complex with spurs going into Blackburn centre and sharing other bike paths, it took me two attempts to do it as I took a wrong path first attempt.
A thing to note is that the Leeds Liverpool canal can be used to access it and to cut it short as that cut across Blackburn.
Excellent half day though, and well done to the people who have created it.
It would make an excellent full day if combined with the Preston Guild Wheel, but I have not worked out link them in a bike friendly way, yet.
