Does anyone know how I can get an english commentary for the TDF whilst in Germany, without using a VPN?

Radio 5 live doesn't seem to be doing it today and I can't find anything else. Eurosport, for which I have a subscription, insists on routing me to the German player which doesn't work.

My internet connection is pretty poor so won't support a VPN unfortunately.

Thanks IA.

I don't have any helpful commentary suggestions but I do know that a VPN won't necessarily reduce your bandwidth, although some decrease is normal. In some cases - I've no idea how common in practice - your usual ISP will actually be artificially throttling your bandwidth and routing through a VPN can actually speed up the connection

Thanks John, I'll have a play around and see what I can do.

Last week in Italy I could watch itv4.

It worked when I used mobile data (UK sim or routing through UK node of my phone company means itv think I am in UK).

It did not work on hotel WiFi which to itv looked like Italy.

UK mobile data works across EU, use phone as mobile hotspot if you have UK mobile data?

I use http://live.cyclingnews.com/ - written and not live, but updates every few minutes or so.

As an aside - https://radio.garden/ is the place to go to find world-wide radio easily.
