Hi all

Im looking at replacing my Suntour XCR sus forks on my 26" wheel MBT with rigid ones

I have been using the bike for touring which run lovely but never use the sus so want to get rid of a bit of weight.

The Axle crown is approx 465mm

Would anyone have a recommendation for a rigid fork (Disc)

I have looked at this one which looks nice with all the fixing etc

In reply to lee birtwistle: I can recommend the Surly, they are nice.

M-parts make reasonable forks and are about half the price of Surly, if you are on a budget.

I bought a pair of compensated forks from this website: https://www.carboncycles.cc/

They were excellent, turned in sharply and rode very smoothly. The only difference was that riding down flights of steps wasn't very comfortable! I had no doubt about the quality or the strength.

Thanks for the link

Have just order the carbon disc forks - bargain price

another belated vote for carboncycles stuff, Ive ridden some red (xc not dh) trails on them and they are great.

I’ve had a set of carbon cycle forks for years, same pair on various bikes and love em! Money well spent.
