Recycling old bikes

I have two bikes in reasonable condition that id like to recycle/donate to a charity. Im bsded in Warrington abd have tried searching on line with no success. Any helpful suggestions?

List them on Facebook Marketplace/Gumtree/Shpock for a nominal fee/free - that's at least recycling, if not necessarily for a specific charity. Downside is you might have a bunch of enquiries/people that don't turn up before they go.

Leave them outside with a big sign saying "free"?

In Warrington, there is the Walton Lea Partnership, who will re-furbish donated bikes (skills and activity for the people they support) and then re-sell at a fair price for benefit of the charity.  See waltonlea.org.uk
