Sadly nowhere to watch it but ...

Where's the smart money ? It'll be wet.  I've god a sneaking feeling for Pederssen in the men's.

In reply to GrahamD:

WVA must be favourite, with MVDP a close second.

If I was a betting man I’d be putting some money on Quinn Simmons and Dylan Van Baarle - both look to be in decent form (especially Van Baarle).

I’m racing twice on Sunday. First in a ‘cross race and second to get home and watch it! Glad the women’s is on a separate day. Looking forward to seeing how that pans out.

I'm thinking a Quick Step winner. Both Stybar and Seneschal looked good at the World's. Also think Colbrelli will do well, seemed frustrated with result on Sunday, due teammates crashing and then choosing wrong wheels to follow.

Tasty! Is Pidcock taking part?

Thread diversion - enjoyed Alaphilippe's win at world championship. Very much in his personal style.

That was a classy finish.  A well deserved winner.

Maybe an outside chance given his form in the early season classics... and his Olympic MTB gold medal... and his junior XC World Championships. We're still waiting for a British winner.

They should have a leg up and down Butteress Brink in Hebden Bridge. That would certainly be sporting.

Would have entered a local CX race this weekend, but I'm off bike packing instead.

My mistake.  I'd been reading the odds checker last week and he was on that.

Anybody watching the womens race on GCN+ at the moment?

Is it glitchy or is that just me?

Do you have an English commentary?
The woman on a motorbike said "back to the commentators" but it's just vehicle noise and a bit of crowd noise.

Update - commentary just got mixed in.
