The rims on my current wheels (American Classic Aero 3) are getting very worn, so it's time for a replacement.  Looking for something clincher, rim brake, mid section.  The Hunt 36 Carbon Wide Aero look good, these would be absolute top of my budget.

Anyone got experience of them, or recommendations for similar wheels?

I've had a pair of Hunt wheels for the past 5 years - never thrown a spoke, gone out of true, haven't even changed bearings. Just over 7,000km of canal commuting on them and they are still bombproof.  Get both thumbs up from me.

Cheers.  Trigger pulled, couple of weeks to wait.

They're good wheels but the noisiest freewheel in existence.

Each to their own but I like that. Just stop pedalling and you have a bell!

Hmm, interesting. I have their alloy wheels and the hubs are really quiet. At least compared to DT Swiss on another bike.

I’m the same with my hope free hubs, feels a little less demanding than pinging the bell as well.
