Col d'Izoard?

Hey all, 

Col d'Izoard. What's the derivation of the name? I cant find much out with a quick Google. Is it someone's name, does it translate into English, what's it all about hive mind?

L'étymologie de l'oronyme Izoard est discutée (grammatici certant). Ce toponyme est peut-être un nom de personne d'origine germanique, Isoward, composé de isan, « fer », et ward, « gardien », un nom de guerrier

So not clear but maybe after someone's name
