Hi

I finally need to  replace the brake blocks on the front of my bike. First time on this bike (*).

Here is the issue.

They are 1993 campag chorus and I'm not sure  if they have changed the design so new ones don't fit.

Any got a scoobie?

(*) yes, owned from new, mostly original parts except for chain and sprockets, bar tape, rims(pothole damage) and saddle. I just try not to brake much and it hasn't done more than about 2000 miles a year.

Do they look like this?

If you can't get modern blocks to slide into the housing just buy new housings + pads.

They're not dual pivot ..

Right, they are earlier than 1993. They look more like 88 - 90.

You could put any all in one pads in there if you wanted.

OK. Must have been a mixed up group set as I had 8 speed.

Many thanks
