Surely it should read "looking across to the Beacons". As a former local, all my mates refer to the Brecon Beacons as "The Beacons". There is one Brecon but many Beacons. I know it is commonly used by many but why refer to "The Brecons"? This has been nagging away at me for a while. Time for a glass of red I think!
