The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival is back and bigger than ever on the weekend of 17-19th March 2017. Once again based in the iconic Showroom Cinema in the heart of the city, the venue offers a beautiful setting to watch a range of fantastic films on the big screen.

Watch the brilliant ShAFF 2017 trailer below to get a glimpse of the wide range of adventure films showing across the weekend.

For 2017 the BMC will be playing a leading part with a number of free talks and sessions in the new Outpost area. They'll also be hosting David Lama as part of a Climb night on the opening evening of ShAFF on 17th March. David will be presenting his new film and taking part in a Q&A session that will provide insight into this still young climber who excelled first on rock, then plastic and now in the big mountain ranges. His achievements are already highly impressive for such a young man, here is your chance to find out about his adventures on Annapurna III and what is next on his list. Definitely an evening for any climbing enthusiast.
