Customer Services Assistant - Lyon Equipment, Recruitment Premier Post, 1 weeks @ GBP 75pw We are seeking to appoint a full time Customer Services and Technical Information Assistant to our busy Customer Services department based at Tebay.

The Customer Services Department Are Responsible For

• Processing returned products; this may include administering a stock return, liaising with customers to analyse unusual wear patterns, testing a product or carrying out repairs
• Provide technical advice; this can be via email, face to face, a written report or telephone conversation
• Sales and order processing

The Customer Services team are technically competent and have first-hand user experience of our products.
This is a technical role and requires both practical user experience of the products and strong administrative skills.

The Job Will Involve

• Assessing, processing and repairing (where approved) returned items
• Answering customer (includes consumer and Lyon staff) questions and ensuring all enquires are closed
to the satisfaction of the customer
• Use of an electronic inventory and accounting package to log the status of customer queries and
orders
• Reviewing outstanding and open files within the department
• Preparing reports and documents
• Occasional supplier and/or customer visits
• Be capable of undertaking the demands of the job as described, along with other duties as required
from time to time

The Person We Seek Will Ideally Meet The Following Essential Criteria

• Have a genuine, active interest in the use of our technical equipment and inspection of Personal Protective Equipment and the contexts in which the products are used

• Have an analytical mind set to assess the products
• Be able to handle enquiries in a diplomatic, helpful and efficient way
• Good language and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be organised, with good attention to detail and understand the importance of following business
processes
• Have good computer skills with the ability to pick up new systems easily
• Be self-motivated and also happy to work as a flexible member of the Lyon team
• Be willing to undertake personal training and development
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Hours of work:
This is a full time position which equates to 37.5 hours per week. We work slightly longer hours Monday – Thursday in order to enjoy an early finish on a Friday every week! These hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 14:00.
