ACCOMMODATION
Easily accessible from the M6 and by train and there are plenty of accommodation options in and around the town but you need to be on your toes as they fill up very quickly over the Mountain Festival weekend.
CAMPING
This year we will once again have a camping field but owing to its popularity, you need to book in advance - more info.

Film Premieres
There are two big film premieres confirmed; the Hotaches Productions film Distilled (which involves Andy Cave and whisky), and the first Northern screening of Alastair Lee's much-anticipated film The Great Last Climb (which probably also involves whisky).
The Last Great Climb tells the incredible story of Leo Houlding, Sean Leary, Jason Pickles and filmmaker Alastair Lee attempting an unclimbed route on the granite tower of Ulvetanna in Queen Maud Land, eastern Antarctica.
Film Academy
This year's Adventure Film Academy will be run from Monday 11th November to Friday 15th November. It's the best adventure film training you'll find anywhere in the UK, run by legendary experts such as Brian Hall and Keith Partridge. It will include the legendary 48-hour film marathon! If you want to learn more about making film this is for you.

Nadir Khan Photography
This year at KMF in the Brewery Arts Centre, photographer Nadir Khan will be exhibiting some of his superb action photographs.
Nadir's work has received recognition in the UKClimbing.com Photography awards in 2012 for best trad climbing photo with 'Archangel' and has been shortlisted for the finals of the Landscape Photographer of the Year (LPOTY) in 2011 and 2013. Nadir is one of the rising stars of UK photography, applauded for his images that are full of impact and drama that cover climbing, outdoor action and lifestyle, commercial and travel.
His work has been commissioned by The North Face, Wild Country and Rab and he has been published in the climbing press in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Nadir will be on hand at the exhibition to discuss his images, including: how he takes them, the equipment he uses, and the post-processing involved.
