Warm:
The Kangri boasts class leading warmth thanks to a unique full Triple Thinsulate lining.
Unlike other boots the Kangri has insulation which surrounds the whole foot, both above and below the footbed to eliminate cold spots.
Comfortable:
As well as being superbly warm the 2013 Kangri also features the new Bi-Flex ankle design.
Bi-Flex strategically positions flexible and stiff materials in the upper to allow for much more natural articulation of the ankle whilst maintaining excellent support.
A new and improved last shape developed in conjunction with leading alpinists has allowed us to refine the fit to better suit the average foot morphology.
Durable: Boreal has been manufacturing leather mountain boots to the highest standards since 1976. Despite huge advances in synthetic textile technology nothing beats a quality leather boot for ultimate reliability. The Kangri continues this tradition as has an upper built from the very best quality European 2.8mm leather.
Technical: The Kangri Bi-Flex is fully compatible with technical C3 rated crampons. Dual density TPU crampon attachment lugs ensure a secure fit whilst allowing enough shock absorbency to take the 'sting' out of hard front pointing. A new advanced carbon fibre composite mid-sole keeps the weight down and the Bi-Flex ankle design allows for excellent freedom of movement when climbing.
The Kangri Bi-Flex is available from March 2013 in selected stores only.
