With the Petzl CORE you can:
  • Reduce your environmental impact
  • Save money when used to replace AAA batteries
  • Have easy charging via universal USB
  • Customized performance with OS by Petzl software

The new rechargeable CORE battery is designed for the TIKKA2 - ZIPKA2 line of headlamps. This battery is easily inserted into the headlamp in a few seconds in the place of the three LR03/AAA batteries. It offers an advantage over standard batteries for frequent or intensive headlamp use. It is more economical to use - it pays for itself after four sets of alkaline batteries. The Lithium Ion Polymer technology guarantees a long lifetime. The CORE battery makes an efficient contribution to limiting toxic waste in the environment.

With OS by Petzl software, the CORE battery opens new doors: the OS by Petzl software can simply be installed in your computer and the headlamp connected to it.

It then becomes possible to adjust, in a very intuitive way and with only a few clicks, the battery life of the headlamp or the lighting level (maximum or economic mode) according to your needs.

I'm confused... At the top of the article, and in the title of this thread it says "8 prizes", but there are only 7 winners' names listed in the article: "Sicoke of Nethy Bridge, Big Bad Bob of Birmingham, Paul Prozesky of London, Emma Harrington of Chatham, Stephen Timmins of Buxton, Stuart Thirsk of Stockport and danp of Bristol." Who is the 8th winner?
16 Feb, 2012
Ash Sayers of East Sussex.
