30 mile Trail running

Part of the Dig Deep race weekend in the Peak District the Intro Ultra is a 30 mile Trail Ultra, covering much of the same ground as its bigger sister the Ultra Tour of the Peak District. PLEASE NOTE: THE ROUTE SHOWN BELOW IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND FULL RACE NOTES AND RACE MAP ARE SENT TO EVERY COMPETITOR PRIOR TO THE RACE.
The route has been chosen because of its stunning scenery and toughness. Whilst most of the route is on good tracks and Public Rights of Way it also crosses some tricky terrain where navigation skills may be needed. Whilst developing the race we have worked closely with local landowners and the Peak District National Park Authority to ensure that the race is sustainable and avoids sensitive areas. For this reason there are some strict route restrictions in place on some areas of the race. Please follow these wherever indicated. The route will be fully marked but some navigation will be necessary. Sport ident dibbing stations will be in place along the route – each of these must be visited, failure to do so will mean disqualification from the race. The race will part of a festival of running to be held at Whirlow Farm Hall in Sheffield (camping available). As well as the 30 mile race there will be several other races starting and finishing over the weekend. Please note that strict cut-off times will be in place at each Support Station. Each competitor needs to have pre-booked. Booking is available online. You will receive your race number at registration on the day of the event. Who can take part? We have a minimum age of 18 but no maximum ages. What facilities will there be? We will have food and drinks on site along with toilets and changing facilities. Camping is also available on site – please pre book. Parking Parking is to be arranged in the main area of Whirlow Hall. Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, Whirlow Lane, Sheffield S11 9QF
