The Grosser Mythen summit, complete with restaurant, is easily reached by the path on the south-east side. There are several climbs on the prominent west, south-east and east faces which are so far omitted from the Filidor Plaisir and Extrem guides. While routes are given in the 1996 SAC general walking/scrambling/climbing guidebook listed here, a dedicated SAC climbing guide to the area was released in 2014: Zentralschweizer Voralpen Nordost.
