Prominent position in the Karwendel range above Innsbruck. The main East-West ridge makes up the Innsbruck skyline and provides a good ridge day out accessible from the Hafelekar cable car station, includes several subsidiary summits such as Seegrabenspitze and Hafelekarspitze. The ridge may be climbed by the Klettersteig, but a better proposition is to avoid it. This also allows you to follow the true ridge line. From the ridge, several lower but more technical ridge lines also protrude northwards.
Approach from Hafelekar cable car station, from the west end of the ridge and descend to the middle station by good path.
