A large and complex limestone mountain above Innerthal and the artificially created Wägitalersee. The routes are up to 450m long and bolted but generally require more or less trad gear. The designation "Trad" or "Sport" per climb is at the discretion of the moderator: buy the guides for a more reliable and accurate description! There is an alpine feel about the place and many routes have slightly complex descents or approaches.
The comprehensive guidebook is Zentralschweizer Voralpen Nordost, hard climbs only in Schweiz Extreme Ost (6b upwards), easier climbs in Schweiz Plaisir Ost. Half a grade disagreement between the books is not unusual.

Postbus or car to Innerthal, 1hr30min walk in, small private hut just below the wall.
