Sea cliff featuring an incredible amount of unclimbed rock with massive potential. A good head for exposure and some basic sea cliff climbing knowledge is required.
Full route descriptions can be found here on the wiki.
The crag can be accessed from the most northerly part of An Baile Uachtarach (52.1795, -10.4487). There is ample space to park here considering how unused the crag is but, please park in such a way that it does not impede access for farming machinery.
Follow the farming road from here up the hill until it ends. Then proceed up the hill towards the watch tower for some magnificant views and an excellent spot for a base camp.
There used to be a small honesty box located at the entrance gate to the access road but it is no longer there. If it does materialise again some money should be left as a gesture of good will towards the landowner.
There does not appear to be any issues with access. The area became a popular walking area after Star Wars was filmed on site and the landowners do not seem to mind the increased traffic. However, access is still not guaranteed, please be considerate to ensure it does not get revoked.
Do not bring your dog, the head is used to graze sheep. This is a common point of contention with local farmers and could potentially result in a loss of access.
