Rockfax Description
This is the normal route for accessing the summit of Torre Toblino. It is however more commonly used as the descent from Delle Scalette and is not the most interesting out-and-back expedition in the area.
From the chapel adjoining Rifugio Locatelli take path 102 heading northeast. After 200m or so an indistinct path leads off left towards Torre Toblino; keep an eye out as it's easy to miss. Follow the path (with several possible deviations) heading uphill towards the north. As you get closer the path becomes more pronounced and eventually you reach the first section of wire. Continue up this, with easier route finding following the intermittent sections of cable to the summit. © Rockfax
