Excellent accommodation in a stunning setting for hikers and climbers. Cool mountain breezes and a cool ground floor make it comfortable even in a hot summer. Views from roof terrace absolutely outstanding; the best ever.

Great house, great location. The climbing in this part of Spain is fantastic and all crags are easily reached from Abdet. Will be venturing back for sure.

Thank you very much for a fantastic stay! The apartment had so much character, I had never expected the place to be so good with such amazing value. The village is just as lovely, the locals are welcoming and restaurants very good value for money too. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearest crag, which after travelling around the area, it turned out to be our favourite one. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody going to Costa Blanca! If we return we will definitely be staying there again! Ellie and friends!

Just got back from our fourth stay here. Perfect location and great house. Very convenient for exploring inland crags eg Montesa only 1 hr 15 mins via Alcoy, and El Cid via ferrata.

Lovely big house ideal for small or larger groups, or even just for two people. Pellet fire keeps the place nice and warm. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for a climbing trip to the region. We stayed a week and climbed at 5 or so different locations, never travelling more than an hour by car but the best crag is just 10 mins down the road! House has loads of info about other activities in the region. Perfect place for all round activity holiday. Thanks Tom :-)

The ever increasing number and standard of local crags / routes, along with the high standard of accommodation make this an excellent playground for climbers and walkers alike. It's not my first visit and definitely not my last

Perfect place for climbers and walkers to stay. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, with great views down the Guadalest Valley.

Very impressed with the accommodation, a lovely village and a small collection of crags 5 mins walk from the village. Tom was very helpful and I recommend it for walking, bike rides, gorge scrambling and climbing.

Great place to stay, peace and quiet with crags within walking distance. Plenty of lovely cheap tapas in the village. Well located for other crags like toix and Echo valley as well as picturesque Gudalest. lots of helpful info in the villa on arrival, and thanks to Tom (the owner) for all his advice to our queries and requests for Topos during our stay

Great base for climbing and walking. Local barranco excellent for cooling down by jumping into the deep pools. Lovely house. Nice and quiet. Been twice now. Dave and Helen.
hollybank - 11/Apr/11

Great place to stay. Accommodation cosy and welcoming specially in winter with the fire roaring and electric heating in the bedrooms. Climbing on the nearby crags is great with a wide range of grades and routes.
RiWiGe - 08/Mar/11

Great house, but it takes longer than 10 mins to the crag as there's a bar in between - coffee on the way in and cervezasan tapas on the way back, bit of a perfect set up really. And the view!!
andif - 11/Feb/11

very good accommodation in a beautiful quiet mountain village. Great local climbing (within 5 mins) as well as easy reach to the famous cliffs of Sella (1.5hrs) and the coast (1hr).
adamo - 22/Feb/10

Really great accommodation. Perfect for the local crags (10 mins walk from house), which are of good quality with limited traffic to date. Guadelest climbing only 15 mins in the car, and Calpe 40 mins. Enjoy!
Neo007 - 22/Oct/09

Great place for a holiday with fantastic climbing within walking distance. Get away from the crowds on the coast and enjoy the mountain environment in an unspoilt village. Lovely accomodation.
RiWiGe - 07/Aug/08

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house, very cosey, great roof terrace, with a view to die for! The house had everything you could need except an hair dry'r (oer misses), parking near the bar, good tapas, but be careful of the Lamb (huge joint), will be back, lots to explore. Loved Abdet, so quiet. Stu
