Artworker/Marketing Assistant, Recruitment Premier Post, 2 weeks @ GBP 75pw Lowe Alpine is one of the most widely recognised brands in the outdoor industry today. We have been making quality backpacks and travel luggage for adventure enthusiasts since 1967 and continue to lead our field with innovative, forward-thinking products that allow people to go further and explore more.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative artworker/marketing assistant to join our small but energetic marketing team based in our office in Kendal on the edge of the Lake District.

Overview:


We are looking for a creative digital designer that can work fluidly between mediums and produce modern, creative artwork and contribute to the overall creative direction of the brand.

If you’re passionate about the outdoors and graphic design, have relevant experience and/or a professional design/communications qualification and would relish the chance to work in a fast paced, varied role at one of the biggest outdoor brands in the UK - This job is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support, design output and brand visual language development
• To artwork seasonal campaigns and assist with rollout with international offices and media partners
• To support rollout of all digital and print marketing collateral including workbooks, consumer brochures, digital and social media assets
• To support with the development of in store communications in conjunction with retail partners
• To manage asset and advertising requests from agents, media partners and international offices
• To support the marketing team with trade and consumer events
• To support brand and PR functions with visual communication requirements
• To manage image library
• To re-touch and colour product photography
• To support the day-to-day running of the marketing department

Skills and Experience:

• Good understanding of creative visual principles such as typography, layout, colour, photography and identity
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, including colour work, image manipulation and batch processing
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite and a desire to learn new skills
• Degree or equivalent level qualification desirable
• Knowledge and passion for the outdoors industry would be advantageous
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and a positive approach
• Good attention to detail
