The British brand has added four new products to its range including waterproof and breathable outerwear, hydrophobic down pieces and innovative next-to-skin base layers.

Available to pre-order directly from Jöttnar and selected retailers from mid-October, the new range includes the Fenrir – a lightweight down jacket with water repellent down, the Garm – a technical softshell jacket, the Uller – a yak wool blend base layer and the Hymir – an ultra-lightweight waterproof breathable smock. Pre-orders will be dispatched early November.

New colour options are also available for items within the original range, including the critically acclaimed Bergelmir – Jöttnar's flagship waterproof breathable shell, and the Vanir – waterproof breathable salopettes, as well as the mid layer Alfar and Fjörm down jacket, all of which are being continued.

Tommy Kelly, former Royal Marine and Jöttnar co-founder, said: "The new range has been developed through a lengthy design process and every item subjected to unremitting testing in the most demanding conditions. The whole process is underpinned by the best technology, using the highest quality accessories and craftsmanship we could find.

"Clean lines, disciplined design and attention to detail are Jöttnar's hallmarks – it's a marriage of form and function, without compromise."

Available directly from Jöttnar, the brand is continuing to expand its footprint in the UK and Europe, partnering with a number of selected, specialist retailers.
