Climbing films are always centre stage at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and this year's a record with 24 films films - including the premiere of Wide Boyz II - Slender Gentlemen on Friday and our Sheffield Hospitals Charity fundraiser with The Limbless Mountaineer Jamie Andrew premiering his attempt to become the first disabled person to climb The Matterhorn followed by a discussion on risk and reward with Andy Kirkpatrick.

With three special Climb Film Sessions, two Mountain Film sessions, two feature length films and  a wide range of lectures including Alastair Lee, James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini, Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker as well as James MacHaffie.  See full climb films / talks line up CLICK HERE.

There's also free live music on in the bar most of the weekend, a kit sale, exhibtors hall,  a large photo exhibition, activities, a ShAFF menu and special festival beer.
