Osprey Packs are recruiting a European Marketing Co-ordinator, based in Poole, Dorset.

Job Description

Co-ordinating/supporting marketing activity throughout Europe, including:-

• Working with retail partners, agents and distributors to create marketing opportunities
• Liaising with Regional Sales Manager to plan and manage the allocation of marketing spend with retailer co-operations
• Executing Marketing campaigns and analysing results/return-on-investment

PR

• Specialist PR in-house (both within and outside the UK)
• Providing support to external PR agencies (both within and outside the UK)
• Collecting and organising PR clippings and folders and updating the sales team
• Co-ordinating marketing samples
• Sending products out for photoshoots, testing etc
• Supplying images, products and copy within deadlines to:-
• * Journalist contacts
• * Customers with mail order catalogues/web

Digital

• Maintain and develop CRM
• Run digital multi-channel campaigns including utilising PPC, SEO

Advertising

• Planning and co-ordinating seasonal advertising
• Researching and negotiating rates with magazines and other mediums for advertising

Marketing materials

• Researching POP opportunities as they arise
• Supplying stores with:- Marketing materials

POS material

• Keeping product image folders populated with current product
• Organising:-Location photo and video shoots and managing photographers
• Local printing schedules within sales timelines
• Allocating the correct quantity of workbook to each territory

Online

• Buying on-line links and landing pages throughout Europe
• Updating social media

Admin

• Maintaining magazine subscriptions and circulating, including bike and outdoor publications
• Raising orders for product giveaways
• Keeping the European dealer list up to date, including online

Sponsorship

• Organising sponsorship of athletes and maintaining contracts, bios, product, website & social media updates
• Processing sponsorship and charity requests
• Managing sponsorship and charity requests

Tradeshows, sales and product meetings, events and travel, including

• Travelling both within the UK and outside the UK
• Assisting with organisation and administration of tradeshows within budgets
• Assisting with organisation and administration of yearly EU sales meeting within budget
• Attending trade shows, sales meetings and product meetings
• Assisting with the organisation of events and event management and attending events
• Organising and preparing the tour bus before events using check lists

Trademark maintenance, including

• Keeping records of trademark use, scanning records of trademark use and maintaining library of trademark evidence in a logical easily referenced format

Technical support, including

• Maintaining an up to date, current and detailed knowledge of the entire Osprey line
• Providing product support to:
• Consumers by phone or e-mail
• Retail stores and buyers
• Customer service
• Warranty process
• Advising all of the above on pack features, function and fitting

Other office duties as required

Required: PR/Marketing Qualification

Desirable: Second European language
