Tim in action on the Helmcken Falls
When Tim Emmett set out to climb the first ascent of Helmcken Falls, he took with him the designers from Mountain Hardwear so they could see exactly the needs of an elite level ice climber and alpinist.

Mix together an extremely wet, cold environment, where Tim needed to stay dry and warm, yet with the best in breathability and out of it comes the Seraction Collection: the ultimate in mixed rock and ice climbing apparel and gear.

Using the pinnnacle in waterproof, breathable and air permeable technology, Dry Q. Elite was used for the Seraction jacket to expel heat and vapour immediately, keeping Tim comfortable on those hard climbs.

The hood is helmet compatible, with a perfectly placed stretch panel for comfort and fit, as well as a single pull adjustment system. For increased mobility and comfort, these stretch panels also feature on the sides and underarms.

To keep the melt water out, there are two small drain ports on the outside pockets, so once wet gloves are placed inside, the excess water can drain out easily. Teamed with an Aquaguard™ Vislon Zipper, this is a super protective jacket ready for any condition your climb has to give you.
