The BMC is now recruiting for three new officers. These are new, full-time positions based on four-year, fixed-term contracts, funded by Sport England.

The positions are:
Regional Development Officers
Two officers to support new participants, mountaineering clubs, climbing wall operators and BMC volunteers at a regional level.
The regions are:
England West (covering Lancashire to the West Midlands).
England East (covering Yorkshire to the East Midlands).
Hill Walking Development Officer
The BMC is also seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills to develop and promote our work for hill walkers across England and Wales.
The BMC actively promotes equal opportunities.
Closing date for return of completed applications is Thursday 24 January 2013.
Interviews will be in Manchester on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 February 2013.
