In April 2002 the first officially recognised Guinness World Dyno Records (kind of like high jump for rock climbers) were set at The Edge Climbing Centre in Sheffield. Since then similar competitions have been held in New Zealand, Birmingham, Manchester the USA and elsewhere, all indoors.
At Cliffhanger this year this record will be challenged once again, back in the city in which it was first set, this time outdoors.
An open competition will take place on each day, all being well with a world record attempt, and £1,000 of prize money up for grabs (£250 to the best female and best male jump each day).
Eveybody who enters the competitions will win a POD Sacs Bar Towel :-)
Event sponsored by POD Sacs; holds kindly supplied by Bendcrete. Timetable below.
