The Great Yorkshire Crag Clean Up

© Harrogate Climbing Centre
With many crags in the Yorkshire area being easily accessible to the public and climbers alike it doesn't take long for the crags to begin to show signs of neglect through littering.

As climbers, we at Harrogate Climbing Centre are keen to make sure that the venues which are important to us and our users are being maintained, but being such a small team we would very much like to ask for volunteers to come and give us a hand with The Great Yorkshire Crag Clean-up!

We do have a list of crags that we know are in need of a good clean to restore them to their former glory. We plan to start with Ilkley on the 3rd of July and would love to see as many people as possible on the day to lend a hand. As a reward, we will give everyone that turns up a discount voucher for HCC entry or courses. We plan to enjoy a well deserved pint afterwards!

If you have any crags in mind that you also believe require some tender loving care please email us or give us a call and let us know.

We hope to see you there!
