The Beacon Climbing Centre is running their annual winter bouldering aggregate. There is a £2 minimum donation to join the aggregate - 100% donated to the North Wales Bolt Fund.

Anyone can join the aggregate and challenge themselves throughout the grade spectrum, prizes are awarded not just for those doing the hardest problems but for a range of other achievements.

The aggregate will be running throughout the winter with loads of fun and challenging problems on the newly spruced up Beacon bouldering wall. This year has seen a good mix of different route-setters and next week Gaz Parry is due to add his style of problem to the mix.

Nearly £550 has been raised so far at The Beacon since the aggregate started in October and this money has helped the bolt fund support re-equipping at LPT and the Diamond, Llandudno. The staff at The Beacon are hoping the aggregate can raise at least £1,000 this season.

All contributions to the fund are welcome, especially with the ever increasing price of stainless steel and the Euro-exchange rocketing.
