The new Llangollen wall

Llangollen at last is getting a climbing wall to go with the five miles of superb limestone cliffs above the town, so when you are rained off there is somewhere to go.
The wall has been developed by local climbers and is suitable for beginners as well as top-standard climbers who wish to train on the bouldering area and systems board. There are 16 top ropes with three or more routes per rope.

The Grand Opening of the wall is Saturday 26th September from 2pm to 10pm. There will be free taster sessions available, plus free climbing for competent climbers. For more details check the Llangollen Climbing Centre web site. The official opening ceremony is at 4pm.
