Excellent mixed conditions on Saturday but note my selection criteria- something with some seepage to avoid bone dry rock. http://tinyurl.com/h779uwl
Yesterday saw a rise to 7degrees briefly and thinning out to over 800m but I supsect the crest will not have had a thaw/freeze so Ridge conditions very powdery and unsuitable for Traversing.
Strong Northerlies yesterday will have frozen any damp on Northern aspects nicely.
Overall very good prospects in mid-level areas with some vegetation ideally. Solitude guaranteed

In reply to Mike Lates:

Katherine and I jogged up Great Gully on Blabheinn today to wonder at the revelation of the Ridge in full winter raiment. Even though you know what to expect, you're still rendered speechless at the vista every time.

I say jogged but I really mean post-holed for a full thousand feet as the fragile crust wouldn't support my clumsy feet. Light winds so probably trail broken for the remainder of the week. Mines a pint of Red Cuillin!!
