 Team BMC 22 Nov 2016
Come along to Ben Rhydding for our next gathering of Yorkshire climbers and walkers, and get involved in the work of the BMC. The evening includes a discussion of local and national issues, a guest speaker, and a bar and food, so it should be a great night out.

Date: Monday 28 November 2016, starting at 7.00pm
Venue: The Wheatley Arms, Wheatley Lane, Ben Rhydding, Ilkley LS29 8PP

BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your as well as the rest of the country. The November meeting is also the area AGM, so elections will be taking place for various area officer and representative roles.

Guest speaker for the evening is Emma Flaherty. Emma was elected a BMC vice-president at April’s AGM. She holds down two jobs in PE and school sport management in Sheffield, and along with Shauna Coxsey runs the annual Women’s Climbing Symposium, and somehow still finds the time and energy for the hard training which has enabled her to boulder up to Font 8a.

All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC.
