idiotic tax credits agency forces mother to use food banks

Its not just 'I, Daniel Blake' and the ESA, its happening in tax assesment too...."Mother forced to use food banks after tax agency [ie the private sector agency Concentrix which carries out tax credit checks] ruled she was living with famous 19th century quaker Joseph Rowntree". The barely researched decision on her tax benefits then affected her other benefits....

This boils my piss. Ordinary decent people trying to make ends meet are being forced into humiliating situations by agencies whose only aim is to make a fast buck

Looks like Concentrix is: -

Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) announced earlier this week that it would not renew Concentrix’s contract next year due to what one MP described as the “blanket approach” it took to finding errors.

It boils my blood that individual people are being paid salaries, and probably looking forward to pensions, to produce results like that
