I'm undecided on MSR Windburner - seems a pretty good option with additional benefit of skillet

The Reactor does one thing really well, and that's melting snow ( or boiling water ). It's useless for actually cooking anything, if that's what you want to do.

Thanks for your reply. Ive been looking further and seems the Reactor 1L is the one for melting snow only.

Jetboil Flash / Flash Lite and Windburner not as efficient but accept frying pan and pots for time in the campsite.

Tradeoffs...
